Hi, I am Sabine, I am a qualified nutritionist and health coach, specialising in thyroid health. I help women over 30 to improve their energy, mood, sleep and get their ZING back, so that they can be the healthiest version of themselves!

As a registered nutritionist, I assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to your symptoms and health concerns. I work with a holistic approach and frequently work alongside medical professionals to support my clients wellbeing.

I take into consideration your gut function, energy production, detoxification, hormone regulation, immune function, stress management, exercise level/ frequency, mental and emotional state, sleep issues, nutrient deficiencies and incorporate any medication, family medical history and food intolerances.

What happens during a programme with me?

After your breakthrough call with me, I will send you a questionnaire, food diary (1 week) and
terms & conditions to complete. This information will of course be kept securely stored. I currently only do online consultations, but will review this in the near future.

After my analysis I will provide you with an initial programme which is tailored to your health
needs and that fits into your life, which gets reviewed every 2 weeks for the duration of the
programme. Most programmes are 3 months, however, everybody is unique, so I recommend
personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. This can
include recommendations of certain tests and supplements as well for a more targeted approach,
but all this depends on your individual circumstances.

How does coaching complement the nutritional work?

I am also a qualified NLP Master Practitioner which adds coaching qualifications to my skill set. With me you get 2-in-1!

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is basically how to use the language of your mind to change any patterns of behaviour that are not useful to you (certain habits or beliefs), so that you can have more of what you want (i.e. your goals) and less of what you don’t want (the things that stop you from achieving your goals). This helps you to have lasting changes on your journey of becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

    “Hi my name is Sue I’m a 57-year-old mum of three I also have eight grandchildren. I suppose it all started in lockdown eating a little more here and there the pounds started to pile on. I was craving sweet sugary foods all the time. My mood was very low getting out of bed in the morning was an effort, my sleep pattern was very poor I kept waking up three or four times a night. Acid reflux was another problem I was getting through indigestion tablets like nobody‘s business. Then I was diagnosed with planter fasciitis which I have lived with for over a year so painful. My mobility had really slowed down I just thought it was old-age.

    I was told by a friend about a lady in the village who was a nutritionist who works with you and guides you in the right direction. I thought right nothing to lose.

    We had our first meeting six weeks ago and I haven’t looked back since.

    Wow what a difference to my mood I feel so much happier nothing is too much trouble . I’m ready to get up and out of bed by 6:30 in the morning my sleep has improved dramatically and the planter fasciitis has also improved. The craving for chocolate and sugary snacks has virtually disappeared. The best thing of all in six weeks I’ve lost 12 lbs my jeans are loose what a bonus.     I would like to say thank you for your help over the last three months. I was interested in your posts on our local Village Facebook page, decided to get in touch and I am so glad I did.

    I had noticed changes heading into the menopause, and having spent several months reducing my weight by quite severe methods, I was feeling lethargic, suffering muscle fatigue, sleepless nights, thinning hair and generally feeling run down. Sabine asked lots of questions, asked me to fill in forms and food diaries (only once though)!

    This gave Sabine an insight into my strengths/weaknesses around, food, exercise, health and thinking patterns. I did not want a ‘diet’ plan, what I wanted was a healthier more balanced way of living to incorporate all the essential vitamins and minerals according to my needs. This she was able to do.

    With two weekly zoom meetings to discuss progress and/or set backs, to ask questions, give suggestions and encouragement. Sabine also made available some tests at the start, the results of which meant I had a better understanding of why I was feeling as I did and what to do to improve things.

    I would thoroughly recommend a three month session, Sabine has given me the tools to be a more healthier version of myself as I head into the menopause and beyond. My weight has held steady (my fear was if I loosened my grip on very strict diet, I would gain the weight back), not so! I have much more energy, look and feel well in myself. Although I know all the ‘right’ things to do, sometimes we need to be re-set, in our thinking regarding lifestyle, food, exercise and how we treat ourselves mentally – are we too critical, are we listening to what our body is saying it needs in respect of nutrients, rest, exercise?

    Sabine gives a superb all round overhaul (in a very gentle way – no boot camp), which is effective, and gives long term results. I would thoroughly recommend giving her a call.”

    “I came to Sabine wanting to lose some weight. Despite feeling like I had a fairly healthy lifestyle, I am seemed to be stuck with weight that just didn’t want to shift. Sabine was amazing at making me look at every aspect of my life, not just my diet and exercise but also stress, sleep, mindfulness and dealing with feelings of self worth and perfectionism.

    The element I enjoyed the most was learning about fasting and that has now become part of my routine. It certainly helped me curb some cravings and reduce my sugar intake. I looked forward to our sessions as a way to keep me accountable and keep me focused on the goal.
